I’m working towards either self funding the special, or working with a production company.

My hope is that you will watch this, and go, “Oh damn, Benny should film the final special well for real, and I will give him some cashola to be able to do so in the near future”

Fun Spoiler: I plan on decorating the stage with a bunch of hanging wooden butterflies that my friends would hand paint, like they are flying around in a real butterfly pavilion.

I need to stay alive until then lol

This is not purely crowdfunding for the special because I wanted flexibility with how to use the money.

Your money will go towards helping fund the special, but also helping me pay rent and utilities and eat food and stuff or whatever lol. You are personally helping keep my ass alive.

That is especially true if a production company finances it, in which case, the money will primarily be used for other projects, like making the tallest hat in the world.

Why am I doing it like this?

The hour is so different now, I thought this would be a cool way to give you guys a peek behind the curtain, without burning the material.

If you are familiar with the video game industry, something they do is early access, where you can purchase a video game still in development. Think of this like the early access BETA version of Butterfly Pavilion!

With pure crowdfunding, you can’t always be sure how the final content will turn out. That’s I wanted to give you guys a straight up hour of content for free up front, so you know what you are chipping in for.
